Hello, This photo wasn't take in the wild. I never pretend to say so. This animal wasn't farm raised. It is a cheetah that can't go back into the wild. The animal rescue place is called Animal Ark, and it is just outside of Reno, Nevada. They are a wild animal sanctuary. They run the cheetahs because in captivity they live longer, once every week, and once a month for the public. I have seen images where there were weeds and grasses on the track, but they must of just recently scraped the running track before the September run. They have a good size enclosure to normally hang out in. However, it's not the same as being in the wild. I did add the tags "Animal Ark and Reno, Nevada" to my key words, not sure why they don't show up here. |
